Johannes Staudacher Physiotherapy

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services provided by the physiotherapy practice *Johannes Staudacher Physiotherapy*, Baar (hereinafter referred to as “practice”), in particular to physiotherapeutic treatments that are arranged and carried out in the practice rooms and online via the booking system **tbooking**.

2. Appointment scheduling and online booking

Appointments can be made by phone, in person, or online using the booking system **tbooking**. Bookings are binding. The patient will receive a confirmation via email. Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

3. Cancellations and no-shows

Appointment cancellations must be made at least **24 hours before the appointment** – by phone or email.

In case of later cancellation or no-show, the agreed treatment will be charged in full, unless there is a medically documented emergency.

4. Services and tariffs

Services are provided according to the practice's current rates. For medically prescribed treatments, billing is based on the collective agreement with the insurance company (e.g., TARMED). Self-payers are billed based on the time spent or a flat rate according to individual agreement.

5. Payment terms

The invoice is sent directly to the patient or to the relevant insurance company.

The payment term is **30 days net from the invoice date**, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

In case of late payment, we reserve the right to charge reminder fees and default interest and to take legal action.

6. Data protection

Personal data will be processed exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Data will be processed solely for the purpose of treatment, appointment scheduling, and billing. Data will only be shared with third parties if required by law or necessary to process treatment (e.g., health insurance companies or physicians).

7. Liability

The practice is liable within the scope of the statutory provisions for damages caused by gross negligence or intent. We assume no liability for accidents caused by the patient, or for items or clothing brought into the practice.

8. Health requirements

The patient is obligated to inform the practice of any health problems, illnesses, or existing risks (e.g., pregnancy, heart problems, implants, etc.) before treatment begins. In case of uncertainty, we reserve the right to request a medical examination.

9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

The practice reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version valid at the time of booking applies; this version is available on the website or upon request in the practice.

10. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Baar (Canton of Zug), to the extent permitted by law.
