Overview of therapeutic approaches

In my work, I rely on a combination of well-founded methods and individualized care. Here you will find an overview of my treatments. Each approach is tailored to your individual symptoms and goals to support your long-term recovery.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a modern form of healthcare treatment that improves movement, function, and quality of life. Through targeted exercises, manual techniques, and individualized care, it helps reduce pain, promote mobility, and sustainably strengthen the body after injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.

Manual therapy

It is a specialized form of physiotherapy treatment in which functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system are specifically examined and treated using the hands. Targeted mobilization, grip techniques, and soft tissue manipulation relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore alignment to blocked or restricted joints. It is often used for back, joint, and muscle pain and is individually adapted to the patient's needs.

Neurovascular therapy

It is a manual treatment method based on the targeted release of tension in nerve and vascular structures. Gentle manipulation techniques are used to treat bottlenecks in the neurovascular system that can impair the flow of information and substances within the body. The goal is to activate self-regulation, relieve pain, and sustainably improve the function of organs, muscles, and joints.

Manual lymphatic drainage

It is a special form of medical massage that uses gentle, rhythmic techniques to activate the lymphatic system. The goal is to drain accumulated tissue fluid (lymphedema), reduce swelling, and promote decongestion. It is particularly useful after surgery, injury, or in cases of chronic lymphatic drainage disorders. It also has a pain-relieving and relaxing effect on the nervous system. Manual lymphatic drainage is prescribed by a doctor when medically necessary. The costs are usually covered by health insurance. The treatment may only be performed by specially trained lymphatic therapists or physiotherapists with additional qualifications.

Pregnancy physiotherapy

During pregnancy, the body undergoes significant changes – this can lead to problems such as back pain, pelvic instability, or tension. Pregnancy physiotherapy supports you in managing these changes, alleviating discomfort, and providing targeted relief for your body. Using gentle manual techniques, breathing and posture training, and customized exercises, I promote your well-being and optimally prepare you for childbirth. Physiotherapy can also help stabilize the pelvic floor and support recovery after birth.

Temporomandibular joint physiotherapy (CMD treatment)

Temporomandibular joint problems—also known as craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD)—can cause a wide range of symptoms: from jaw pain and teeth grinding to neck tension and headaches. Temporomandibular joint physiotherapy aims to resolve muscular imbalances, harmonize the interaction between the jaw, skull, and spine, and thus relieve pain. Through targeted manual techniques, posture corrections, and individualized exercises, I support you in achieving greater relief and function in the jaw area in the long term.
